Katie currently serves as the Teton County Treasurer in Jackson, Wyoming. She has been in government and non-profit accounting for over 25 years. Katie earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in finance and accounting from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
Katie was born and raised in Denver, Colorado with a devout Catholic upbringing. She made the move to Jackson Hole nine years ago with her husband and five children. Camping, hiking, biking, and cooking with family are areas of enjoyment- doing laundry, not so much.
Katie is no stranger to volunteerism. Her parents were always volunteering in their church and community. They instilled in Katie a "service above self" awareness. She is active in the Jackson Hole community and beyond. She serves on multiple local boards including her position as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Jackson Council of Catholic Women at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church.
