Dr. Daryl Robert Sybert is a retired Orthopedic Spinal Surgeon living in Jackson, Wyoming. He and his family have been active parishioners of Our Lady of the Mountains in Jackson since 2013. He is a longstanding 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus. Following graduation from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine he completed Orthopedic Residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and a Spinal Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Cleveland Spine and Arthritis Center. He Joined private practice with OrthoNeuro in Columbus, Ohio where he served as corporate vice-president and director of the Spine Division. He retired from OrthoNeuro in 2021 after devoting his entire career to assisting individuals suffering from spinal disorders. As a founding member of the New Albany Surgical Hospital, he served on the Management and Foundation Boards. He is past Chairman of The Orthopedic Foundation Board. He was founding member of the New Albany Surgery Center and served on the Management Board. He currently sits on the Ohio University Foundation Board. He was Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine where he has been honored with The Medal of Merit and Outstanding Alumnus Awards. He served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Division of Spinal Surgery at The Ohio State University. Dr. Sybert holds several patents pertaining to spinal devices which have been developed to assist surgeons more reliably help their patients. He and his wife have three children and two amazing grandchildren. They enjoy outdoor adventures of all types. In all his spare time he enjoys endurance swimming, biking and running and has competed in over 10 Ironman Triathlons.
