At Wyoming Catholic Ministries Foundation, we feel blessed to be working with so many great missions to further the service of Christ’s light in our state. I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone reading this, and to everyone who has engaged with and contributed to all of our partners. The crucial ministries that we support could not deliver life-changing service to the faithful people of Wyoming without your help. It is edifying and exciting to look back and see everything that has been accomplished. Thank you!
With that in mind, I direct your attention and prayerful consideration to one of our five principal partners at WCMF, St. Paul’s Newman Center at the University of Wyoming. Our Newman Center touches us all because our students represent and impact every parish in the state. In a way, it is a hub that connects every corner of the state, and a conduit through which countless individuals begin their journey from adolescence to adulthood.
The St. Paul’s Newman Center is a mission-focused parish and Catholic community center that seeks to support and nourish our children as they embark on this difficult but rewarding journey. Students find a second home at SPNC, meeting new friends and building lifelong connections through a shared experience of faith. The wonderful parish staff help students navigate the challenges of early adulthood, all while deepening their relationship with God and His church. In addition, it is a place of service, where students can see the Word of God in action through weekly ministries serving the homeless, hungry, or homebound. We owe it to our children, who are the future of the Church, to give them the help and the resources they need to deepen and enrich their faith through the college experience, allowing them to fully blossom into adults who are loving and hopeful disciples of Christ. Please pray for our new and continuing students this fall and consider supporting St. Paul’s Newman Center to help them pursue their holy mission!
