The Wyoming Catholic Ministries Foundation (WCMF) can only grant funds to Catholic parishes, and ministries of the Diocese of Cheyenne. The foundation does not grant or lend money for individuals. The Foundation cannot support political organizations or support lobbying efforts.
The Foundation only considers requests originating within the Diocese of Cheyenne. To be eligible for consideration, projets must be aligned with the mission and key initiatives of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Cheyenne.
The Wyoming Catholic Ministries Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals. Our mission and focus is the support of select Catholic ministries and organizations that are established according to the norms of Canon Law and recognized by the Diocese of Cheyenne. The Foundation awards funds from endowments established by donors with specific programs and purposes. Funds are restricted to Wyoming Catholic Schools, Parishes, and for the continued growth and education of Clergy. The Foundation has specific application deadlines and only considers requests from these select organizations. Applications must be signed by an authorized agent, and in the case of projects being proposed at the parish level, applications muct include the pastor.
Our ability to award grants depends on the earnings available for specific endowed funds. The Foundation's spending policy which allows grant awards totalling no more than 5% of a rolling, quarterly average over the preceding 3 years.
