Catholic Charities of Wyoming "Fosters Community action to persons in need." Your gift will support our new Emergency Assistance Parish Grant program, created to leverage local collaboration and knowledge to serve those in need. Other priorities include immigration services, senior and elderly care ministries, affordable housing, and collaboration with the Wind River Indian Reservation.
The Seminarian Education Fund will provide for those discerning the call to serve as priests in the Diocese of Cheyenne. This fund will help with room, board, and tuition for those currently in formation, and for two to four additional men who may be considering the call to serve this diocese and the Church in the coming year.
The Diocesan Visioning Fund is dedicated to projects that advance the mission and vision of the Diocese of Cheyenne. Priorities will vary each year in response to special needs and opportunities. This year the Diocesan Visioning Fund commits its support to Youth Ministry.
Contributions to Youth Ministry will help our youth establish roots in the Church. Gifts to this fund will: 1) allow high school leaders to attend the Notre Dame Vision summer program and 2) help grow the Totus Tuus program in local parishes. These initiatives help youth encounter Christ, deepen faith, and become leaders.
St. Joseph's Children's Home will use your gift to provide children hope and healing after trauma. Your gift will specifically help to support the 4-H animal program, chemical dependency program and families who do not have the ability to pay for treatment.
Gifts to St. Joseph's Society will support the Diocese of Cheyenne's dedicated priests in their retirement years, providing needed living expenses not covered by savings and social security.
St. Paul's Newman Center will fund Campus Ministry activities for college students at the University of Wyoming. St. Paul's provides opportunities for spiritual growth and service. Your contribution enables students to participate in spiritual retreats such as SEARCH and allows students to serve the poor and homeless on mission trips to Denver, Oklahoma City, West Virginia, Honduras, and El Salvador.
Gifts to Wyoming Catholic Ministries Foundation will be directed to the Catholic ministries that need it most, our Catholic schools, youth ministry events, and special emergency needs that arise in schools and parishes each year.
